Löhne Location

Job Opportunity (AGH Löhne) –
The Community Garden of the City of Löhne

Employment Opportunity (AGH) with an additional expense allowance pursuant to Section 16d of SGB II

Of course, wages!

“Of Course, Löhne!” is a community project by residents of Löhne for Löhne, carried out by CompetenzWerkstatt Beruf gGmbH as part of AGH.

If you receive the citizen’s income and would like to get involved in a project, it’s very easy! “Natürlich Löhne!” is a project offered as part of the “Employment Opportunities (AGH)” program under Section 16 of SGB II. It is aimed at women and men who have been unemployed for some time and are not currently in regular employment.

This project gives you the opportunity to get involved. You will receive reimbursement for travel expenses as well as an additional flat rate of €1.50 for every hour you work. We want to help you discover your own skills and apply them in the job market. This way, you can not only do something good, but also further develop your personal strengths.

What can you expect there, and what skills are needed?
What makes this project special is that you get to actively shape it!
No matter what skills or interests you have, you can choose the area that appeals to you the most. And if you’d like to contribute your own ideas, they’re always welcome! “Natürlich Löhne!” continues to evolve thanks to your ideas and your commitment!

For example, we are currently working on the following projects:

  • Maintenance of the Community Garden
  • Repair Café for Clothing and/or Bicycles
  • Handicrafts and the production of hats, scarves, gloves, and socks for people in need
  • Donations of toys, books, and children's clothing: mending and repairing them for distribution to those in need
  • Creation of a "Money-Saving Tips" Website for Löhne
  • Establishment and Expansion of the “Library of Things”
  • Health: Healthy and Affordable Cooking—Including a Cookbook

    … and much more!

Through “Natürlich Löhne!”, the participants have already achieved a great deal! For example, a community garden run by residents for residents was created in Löhne, and its expansion and maintenance continue to be met with great enthusiasm by many participants. The harvested fruits, vegetables, and herbs are put to good use—whether by supplying home-grown vegetables to community lunch programs or by collecting discarded flower bulbs from cemeteries, which are then planted in public spaces. In this way, the various groups work hand in hand and can make a real difference together!

All projects at “Natürlich Löhne!” have one thing in common:
They are carried out under the motto “By Löhne residents, for Löhne residents!” Everyone has the opportunity to make their own personal contribution and create something special. There are countless ways to put your talents and skills to use—join us!

You can join at any time!

Project hours:
Mondays–Thursdays
from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Fridays, "
" from 8:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

We use YouTube in enhanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, enhanced privacy mode does not necessarily prevent the sharing of data with YouTube partners. Thus, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you watch a video.

As soon as you play a YouTube video on this website, a connection is established with YouTube’s servers. This informs the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your browsing activity directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

In addition, YouTube may store various cookies on your device after you start playing a video. YouTube uses these cookies to collect information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to track video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud. The cookies remain on your device until you delete them.

In some cases, after a YouTube video starts playing, additional data processing operations may be triggered over which we have no control.

We use YouTube to ensure that our online offerings are presented in an appealing manner. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. If consent has been requested (e.g., consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR; consent may be revoked at any time.
